Duration of Sweepstakes: Tickets for the Daily Cash Calendar for Ending Hunger will be sold beginning at start of business day on Monday, October 30, 2023 and finish at end of business day on Friday, December 8, 2023.
Two Methods of Entry: No purchase or contribution is required to participate in the sweepstakes. (1) Individuals who make a contribution to Maine Credit Union’s Campaign to End Hunger between the dates listed in the Duration of the Cash Calendar Sweepstakes above by following the instructions located below are automatically entered in the drawing. (2) Individuals who are not Campaign contributors and who do not wish to contribute to Maine Credit Union’s Campaign to End Hunger at this time may enter the drawing by mailing a written request for “ENTRY TO CASH CALENDAR SWEEPSTAKES” with the participant’s name, telephone number, physical address, and e-mail address to ACADIA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, ATTN: ENDING HUNGER CAMPAIGN COORDINATOR, 69 PLEASANT ST., FORT KENT, ME 04743.
All sweepstakes entries become the property of ACADIA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION. Entries will not be returned. ACADIA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, corrupted, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, or not otherwise correctly received due to technical, administrative, or human error, including, but not limited to, any software, hardware, computer or networking issues, or any other circumstances – technical or otherwise – beyond ACADIA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION’s control. At its sole discretion, ACADIA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this sweepstakes if it appears that the integrity, security, or administration of this process may be called into question.
Selection of Winners: The random drawing for the daily cash prize(s) will begin on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2023 and conclude by TUESDAY, JANUARY 2, 2024, held at various branches of ACADIA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, with winners drawn by a random non-staff person. The prize winner(s) will be notified by the phone number that was provided on the ticket. The prize winner(s) will be notified at least once per business day for five (5) days beginning on the day the entry is drawn and will have seven (7) days to respond to the prize notice. If the prize winner does not respond within seven (7) days from the initial notification, then ACADIA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION will randomly draw a new prize winner for that day from the remaining entries and the original prize winner shall be voided. The new prize winner shall be subject to the same rules.
Limitation of Liability: The winner agrees that ACADIA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION and its officers, directors, employees, and agents, successors and assigns shall have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize. ACADIA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION makes no warranties – either express or implied – regarding a particular prize’s merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
