While incoming wire transfers are free, there are charges for outgoing transfers. Please see this page for our most current service fees.
To send a transfer you will need the following:
– The routing number of the receiving financial institution
– The name and address of the establishment
– The name of the recipient
– The recipient’s account number and physical addres (no P.O. box)
Transfers are NOT reversible, so always be sure you are sending your money to a legitimate recipient.
Incoming Wire Transfer Information
If you are planning to receive a wire transfer into your account at Acadia FCU from an outside institution, please note that funds must first be sent to Tri-Corp FCU in Portland, ME, who will then transfer to Acadia FCU.
Provide the sender with the following information:
– Send funds to Tri-Corp FCU in Portland, ME (ABA Routing Number 211291666)
– Ask that funds be credited to Acadia FCU (ABA Routing Number 211287748)
– Provide Tri-Corp FCU with the recipient’s name and account number

Acadia FCU requires the sender’s signature, so we request that you visit one of our branches to wire funds.
Domestic wire transfers are typically received before the end of business day.
We need the routing number of the receiving financial institution, the name and address of the establishment, the name of the recipient, and their account number and physical address (no P.O. box).
Members often have an urgent need to receive availability of funds at an alternate financial institution. This transaction requires the wiring of funds and generally the transaction is complete within 24 hours. Members may electronically wire collected funds into or out of their account at Acadia FCU.
