ST. AGATHA, Maine (March 8, 2019) — Acadia Federal Credit Union proudly donated $500 to Angel Snow-Fest, to benefit cancer patients in the St. John Valley.

Angel Snow-Fest is an annual event put on by a committee of volunteers who raise funds to benefit the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, Angel Flight of New England, and Patient AirLift Services. The Angel Snow-Fest fest event is dedicated in memory of Lakeview Restaurant owner Jenn Daigle’s parents, Dick and Carol Derosier, who both succumbed to cancer, but benefitted from these organizations during their battle.

The event begins at 11 a.m. on March 9 at Lakeview Restaurant in St. Agatha. Participants will enjoy a variety of activities, including a snowmobile poker run, sledding for children, an ice skating rink, and an ice bar.

Angel Snow-Fest has raised a total of $139,000 in the last five years, benefitting the organizations that help cancer patients and their families. Acadia FCU is honored to sponsor this and many other charitable events that take place in their local communities.

Acadia FCU St. Agatha branch manager Julie Hayes presents a $500 check to Angel Snow-Fest committee member Jenn Daigle.
