What is Plaid, and does Acadia FCU support it?

Plaid is a secure service used by many financial apps to connect to your financial institution. It isn’t a payment app itself—instead, it helps apps like Venmo and many budgeting, investing, and payment platforms securely connect to your account (with your permission).

Acadia FCU members can generally use Plaid to connect their accounts. When linking your account, be sure to use your MICR/account number rather than your member number. If you experience problems, the third-party app may also be able to help troubleshoot the connection, as connection methods and requirements can vary by app.
