Full-Time Real Estate Valuation Specialist—Northern Maine

Acadia Federal Credit Union is seeking a Real Estate Valuation Specialist to join our growing team of professionals for our northern Maine service area. This new position will physically inspect properties, review and analyze data such as past sales, process requests for appraisals from lending officers, as well as attend appointments with realtors and property owners with the goal of determining property values.

Maine State certification is not required, however the candidate will be expected to work with an appraiser mentor (arranged by Acadia) to obtain proper licenses within established timeframes. Prior knowledge of real estate property transactions, experience in market values and familiarity with real estate loan documentation is preferred. A college degree is required. This position requires travel and – depending on various factors – can mostly work from home.

Full-Time Mortgage Loan Processor—Northern OR Broadway branch

Acadia Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Processor to join our growing team of professionals at either our Broadway branch in Bangor OR one of our northern branches. The candidate best-suited for this new position will assist in the real estate loan process. This individual will review incoming applications, prepare required documents including disclosures and closing documents, order appraisals and surveys, legal work, and title commitments. Other duties include commercial loan underwriting, processing real estate loan repricing, and reviewing routine lending departmental reports. Experience with mortgage loans, escrow and ARM requirements is preferred.
