This teller will cover all of the northern branches (Fort Kent, Madawaska, St. Francis, St. Agatha, and Ashland) as/where needed and travel will be necessary and required. Chief Relationship Officer (CRO)—Fort Kent Branch

Acadia Federal Credit Union is seeking a Chief Relationship Officer (CRO) to join our growing team of professionals in a newly-created, full-time position based at the Fort Kent branch. This person will oversee the development of relationships both internally (staff) and externally (membership and community), in support of the Acadia FCU mission.

We’re looking for a superstar with the ability to inspire and motivate others, while also comfortable in a leadership role. The CRO will be responsible for staff and member relationship development. Responsibilities will include the management of human resources, ongoing staff training, and overseeing the marketing and public relations functions of the Credit Union. Applicants should hold a post-secondary degree in a related field and two to five years or more of similar or related leadership experience. The CRO will report to the Executive Vice President.

Collections Officer—Fort Kent Branch

Acadia Federal Credit Union is seeking a motivated, organized individual to join our lending department as full-time collections officer working from our Fort Kent branch. An Acadia FCU collection officer acts as a liaison between the credit union and members, helping to manage overdue accounts. This position involves direct member communication to offer assistance and counsel in order to attempt to collect payment for overdue loans or other payments. In a small percentage of cases, functions may also include repossessions, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and court proceedings.

The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to adapt to varied and unique situations, and be able to maintain utmost confidentiality at all times. Professionalism and the capacity to work closely with others are a must. An associate in a business field or equivalent experience is preferred. Training is available for the successful candidate.
